ADI HALFIN
Adi Halfin is an award winning director and screenwriter. Her short films, promos and music videos have been screened in over 100 film festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival and Berlinale, and have won numerous international prizes.
Coming from a background of art and music, Adi loves to challenge the borders of filmmaking and get involved in as many art disciplines as possible – be it dance, fashion or fine arts.
Adi’s expertise in dance films, has led her to direct the award winning film about handicapped dancer Dergin Tokmak for Toyota’s “Start Your Impossible” campaign shortlist for the VOW | MADE BY HER 2019 AWARDS.
Her documentary for the same campaign following Atita Verghese, tells the story of India’s first professional female skateboarder, who dedicates her life to empower young girls through skateboarding.
Adi currently divides her time between Tel-Aviv and Berlin, where she directs commercials and music videos and is working on her first feature film.
